Semi-custom Wedding Invitations

There are a few good things in life that just take sweet, sweeeeeeet time ––– like wine, the Harry Potter books, or any endeavor of self mastery.

But as a busy wedding planner, I’m always looking for the most efficient way from point A to point B.  And with the advent of Pinterest, plus all the ways to share ideas with each other in less than a millisecond, it’s getting a lot easier (and faster) to accomplish the oh-so-tedious tasks of wedding planning.

My latest favorite “invention?” Semi-custom wedding invitation suites.

Traditionally, you go to the stationery store and sit down with a specialist who lays down enormous notebooks in front of you and you peruse all the pretty paper and lettering styles IRL. This is a wonderful way to design not only your invitations - the specialist can also handle your save-the-dates, escort cards + place cards, thank-you notes, coordination with the calligrapher, the addressing annnd the mailing. There’s a reason that this is priciest way to get your invitation suite. With the right stationer, it’s a white glove service.

If you’ve decided to dial down the investment for invitations ––– cause helloooo, open bars ain’t cheap honey ––– may I strongly recommend the following vendors for semi-custom invitation options:
